I watched it on a Hisense U8G 55' 4k TV, which has a peak brightness of up to 1500 nits! So, the dark scenes weren't an issue for me since my TV is extremely bright. The 4K transfer actually looks much more realistic, plus the details are amazing compared to the 1080p version. I saw a lot of negative feedback about the 4K transfer being too dark in certain scenes. As a collector, this is a great addition if you love the original Heat and want a copy of the 4K version as well. Heat (1995) is probably one of the greatest best-action crime drama films ever made.
